JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 12-02-2015 Shivaji Pandey,J Heard counsel for the petitioners and the State. In this case, petitioners are challenging the order dated 5th November 1996 (Annexure-5) whereby and whereunder direction was given that the Store Keeper will be In-charge of stores, in place of Junior Engineers and they will be required to furnish the details of materials available in the store on monthly basis.

The order dated 5th November 1996 is a policy decision of the Government. There is nothing on the record to show that by replacing the Junior Engineers by the Store Keepers is causing prejudice to them. It is for the Management to decide where and who will be posted to a particular place. This Court, in a policy decision, unless it is shown to be arbitrary or violating any provisions of law, will refrain to interfere in the matter. Respondents must have deliberated and only thereafter this policy has been issued so that the store keeper may be utilized effectively and properly.

This Court does not find any error in the order impugned. Accordingly this petition is dismissed.
