1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, in both the cases, states that during the pendency of these
Patna High Court CWJC No.2703 of 1998 (5) dt.09-02-2015 P2/2 applications, the petitioner's grievances have been redressed substantially and he has been given first Assured Career Progression with effect from 09.08.1999 and second Assured Career Progression with effect from 27.08.2001. He submits that the petitioner attained the age of superannuation on 31.01.2009, and though he was entitled for 3rd time bound promotion, he has not been granted such relief so far.
2. In view of the submission as above, apparently these writ applications have become infructuous. Though, there is no specific prayer in these writ applications seeking any direction for grant of 3rd Assured Career Progression, with effect from 01.01.2009, I consider it appropriate to grant the petitioner a liberty to approach the Director (Human Resource Development), by way of representation within one month from today, who, in turn will consider such representation and take a final decision within a period of six months.
3. These applications are disposed of with the observation as above.
