The petitioner seeks quashing of an order dated 04.01.1999 issued under the signature of Deputy Secretary, Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Government of Bihar intimating him about the decision taken for initiation of departmental proceeding against the petitioner for financial irregularities committed by him while he was working as Block Development Officer, Dhamdaha, Purnea.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents-the State of Bihar is right in his submission that the writ application was filed at premature stage. The petitioner could not have questioned the decision of the State Government to initiate a departmental proceeding.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
