The petitioner is accused in connection with Special Case No. 52 of 2016 arising out of Vigilance P.S. Case No. 116 of 2016 registered under Section 13(1)(D) of the P.C. Act. The accusation is that petitioner being the S.D.O. of Jaynagar, was apprehended by the Vigilance Department on taking the bribe of 'rupees one lac' through his peon, Baijnath Prasad. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner, who is the S.D.O. of Jaynagar, has falsely been implicated in this case with ulterior motive. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 27.10.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on

No.1764 of 2017 (2) dt.19-01-2017 bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Special Case No. 52 of 2016 arising out of Vigilance P.S.
