1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 263 of 2023 arising out of Sikandra P.S. Case no. 249 of 2022 registered under sections 307, 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 34, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and one another are said to have struck Sintu Yadav with a tangi, seriously injuring him.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. His earlier prayer for bail was rejected vide order dated 19.5.2023 (Annexure-1) passed in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6702 of 2024(2) dt.02-02-2024 2/2 Cr. Misc. no. 24580 of 2023 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after 6 months. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and investigation in the case has concluded. It has been more than 6 months since the previous order of rejection.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the F.I.R, the liberty granted to the petitioner in the earlier order of rejection dated 19.5.2023 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 263 of 2023 arising out of Sikandra P.S. Case no. 249 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Jamui.
