The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Excise Case No.1728 of 2018 arising out of Bihiya P.S. Case No.399 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the recovery of 40 bottles of countrymade foreign liquor each containing 180 ml from the shop of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected.
