Giri, learned Senior Counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, learned Government Advocate No. 8, appearing on behalf of the State-respondents.

Respondents have filed an affidavit, which shows that pursuant to the order, dated 16.10.2010, passed in this writ petition suggesting to the parties concerned to find out if the dispute, which has arisen, can be amicably resolved, respondents have considered the subject matter of dispute and, having appreciated the economic hardship, which the sugar factories have been facing, decided to reduce the rate of zonal Development Council to 0.75 per cent of cane price.
