2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 788 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 408, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the FIR, on October 28, 2022, the informant rented his truck to Nagendra Kumar Sinha, at the request of Satyendra Kumar and his associates. Later reports revealed that Satyendra Kumar and Nagendra Kumar Sinha had rented multiple trucks across the district to facilitate thefts. The petitioner along with others rented approximately 150-200 vehicles and changed their vehicle registration number, chassis numbers and appearance before selling them in other states.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 21.11.2024 and has 82 criminal antecedents. The allegations against the petitioner are serious and grave in nature.

5. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands rejected.
