The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Mashrak P. S. Case No.591 of 2021, instituted for the offences under Sections 30, 30(a) and 41 of the Excise Act, 2016. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.12.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

Allegation is of recovery of 90 litre of liquor from the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and the petitioner was not arrested from the spot. The real culprit after

The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra in connection with Mashrak P. S. Case No.591 of 2021. The application stands allowed.
