2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lakhisarai Medanichowki P.S. Case No. 240 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 70(2), 127(2), 351(1) of the BNS and under Sections 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioners are accused of committing gang rape with the victim.

4. The petitioner are in custody since 04.11.2024.

5. Considering the seriousness of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3962 of 2026(3) dt.30-03-2026 2/2 the petitioner.

8. It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not express any opinion on the merits of the case.
