BAJANTHRI) Date : 15-01-2024 The present MJC-Contempt Petition is filed for non-compliance of the orders of this Court dated 24.06.2022 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 6909 of 2022. Direction is to the petitioner to submit representation and and it was submitted on 02.07.2022 and same shall be considered by the concerned authority within a period of four months from the date of filing

Patna High Court MJC No.4 of 2023 dt.15-01-2024 2/2 of such representation. In other words on or before 01.11.2022, the concerned Authority should have passed speaking order. However, there is no application for extension of time in C.W.J.C. No. 6909 of 2022.

2. After filing of the present contempt petition in the month of December, 2022, the respondents have taken their own sweet time and proceeded to comply the order on 09.01.2024 after number of interaction in the present contempt matter, therefore, it is a case for initiation of Contempt of Court proceedings. However, having regard to the compliance of the orders of this Court on 09.01.2024 and it is belatedly complied, therefore, we are of the view that imposition of cost would suffice. Accordingly, cost has been quantified at Rs. Ten thousand. Cost shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

3. Accordingly, the present MJC- Contempt petition stands dropped.
