2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 47 of 2016.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely on the basis of confessional statement of coaccused Md. Umar, except which there is no material to connect him with the alleged occurrence. No recovery of any incriminating articles has been made from possession of the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of offence alleged as well as criminal antecedents of the petitioner which discloses one prior case of the same nature in which the petitioner has been made accused, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
