The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 498A, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The wife of the petitioner alleged that the petitioner subjected her to physical and mental torture due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the husband and he is in custody since 19.11.2014. There is omnibus and general allegation.

Considering the facts and nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail for more than two and half months, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like
