JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-04-2017 In compliance of the Court's order dated 16.03.2017 a report has been received from the learned Principal Judicial Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Gaya indicating that enquiry under Section 14 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act has commenced and accusation has been explained to him on 24.03.2017. Summonses against the Investigating Officer and the informant have been issued.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Juvenile Justice Board and learned Sessions Judge, Gaya whereby his prayer for release on bail has been refused. Considering the circumstance that enquiry under Section 14 of the Act has commenced, I dispose of this application with a direction to the Juvenile Justice Board to conclude enquiry

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.171 of 2017 (4) dt.18-04-2017 2/2 under Section 14 of the Act within a period of six months from the date of communication of the present order. If the enquiry is not concluded within the aforesaid period of six months, the petitioner shall be at liberty to apply afresh for his release on bail before appropriate forum.
