The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 275 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding recovery of 8.250 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of the petitioner apart from recovery of various quantities from other co-accused persons. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 30.11.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4092 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Session Judgecum-Special Judge-II, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 275 of 2018.
