The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Sirdalla P.S. Case No.284 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the recovery of 100 pouch, each containing 1.50 litre of mahua wine from a gunny bag on the motorcycle, and the petitioner, who was driving the motorcycle managed to escape on seeing the police party, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.
