The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Doriganj P.S. Case No.217 of 2022 registered under Sections 30 and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from possession of the petitioner rather recovery of country made liquor has been made from the bank of Ganga river. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the

No.4509 of 2023(2) dt.28-04-2023 2/2 parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra in connection with Doriganj P.S.
