JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate/writs quashing the order dated 20.06.2023 passed by the Collector, Lakhisarai as contained in memo No.873 dated 20.06.2023 in Anganbari Appeal Case No.6/22 by which Collector dismissed the Appeal without hearing the Appellant.

(ii) For issuance of a writ in nature of mandamus commanding and directing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2438 of 2024(2) dt.07-03-2024 2/2 respondent Child Development Project Officer, Chanan to consider the appointment of the petitioner who is the most suitable candidate for the post of Sevika in the Anganbari Centre for Ward No.1 Gram Panchayat, Bhalui."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned civil court of competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
