2. The present writ petition has been filed for setting aside the transfer order of the petitioner transferring him from Bodhgaya to Wajirganj by letter no. 113 dated 29.06.2016 issued by respondent no. 2 to respondent no. 5.

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly points out that subsequent to the impugned order of transfer, the petitioner has since been terminated by the Additional Collector, Gaya in terms of order dated 27.01.2017 and against which a representation has already been filed before the Commissioner, Magadh Division,

Patna High Court CWJC No.5073 of 2017 dt.07-09-2017 Gaya, which is pending.

4. Considering the subsequent development as stated by the petitioner, the present petition has become infructuous as the petitioner is no longer in service and the petitioner does not press the transfer order impugned in the writ petition.

5. In the above view of the matter, the writ petition stands dismissed.
