The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D. P. Act. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner did not appear before the Mediation Centre.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the fact that the petitioner did not appear before the mediation centre, however, the notice has already been issued to appear before the Mediation Centre, I
