No. 23490 of 2023:- "Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 800 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 393/307 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2022 and the petitioner has tried to commit robbery and assaulted the victim. Apart from the present case, the petitioner is also accused in three cases. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

In view of the aforesaid fact, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Muzaffarpur is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases in one court pending against the petitioner.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur is also directed to cooperate in the disposal of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3916 of 2024(3) dt.01-03-2024 2/2 the trial and sent a report of the trial within six months as directed by this Court.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to District Judge, Muzaffarpur and Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur for its forthwith compliance."

2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that trial in the present case has been started and two witnesses have been examined.

3. In view of the above, this application is dismissed as the trial has started.

4. The earlier direction made in the order dated 22.05.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 23490 of 2023 is again reiterated.

5. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of all the case registered against the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest.

6. This application stands dismissed.
