That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ(s), order(s), direction(s) for directing the respondent-authority to consider the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground in view of facts the father of the petitioner has died in harness on 27.06.2022 while he was serving as Khalasi in the Public Health Engineering Department, Patna West, Patna."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent no.4, i.e. the District Compassionate Appointment Committee, Patna, headed by the Chairman-cum-District Magistrate, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to stated that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioner before the respondent no.4, within a period of two weeks from today, appropriate decision shall be taken thereon and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
