Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for offence under sections 377/34 of the IPC.

It is alleged that the petitioner, having found the informant alone in the house, he committed rape on her. In view of section 164 Cr.P.C. statement of the victim in which she has made allegation against the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail which would be considered on its own merit without prejudice.
