The present writ petition has been preferred for: direction to the General Manager of the National Highway Authority of India, Bihar, Patna to pay the compensation amount to the petitioner for acquisition of his lands in terms of the gazette notification published in the daily newspaper, Hindustan, Hindi edition, for construction of National Highway 82 in village Punawan, psWazirganj, district-Gaya in Land Acquisition Case No. 23/2015-16 under Award No. 82 with penal interest as he was denied the same for long without any reasonable ground.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the NHAI submits that all the statement made in the writ petition is bereft of any supporting document.

4. In that background, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be given liberty to approach the appropriate authorities for the redressal of his grievance.

5. Granting such liberty, the writ petition stands disposed of.
