This application has been filed for quashing the first information report of Mithanpura P. S. Case no. 115 of 2012.

Having gone through the first information report of Mithanpura P. S. Case no. 115 of 2012, as contained in Annexure-1 to the present application, I find that the allegations made therein do attract the ingredients of a cognizable offence. To

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.451 of 2017 dt.31-07-2019 2/2 hold investigation into a cognizable offence is the statutory right of the police.

In that view of the matter, I see no merit in this application. The application is dismissed.
