Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is husband of the victim, who died in unnatural circumstances in her matrimonial house within three years of her marriage. Allegation is that the petitioner used to torture her for different reasons and that compelled her to commit suicide. Petitioner is in custody since 21.07.2018. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail for the present in connection with Barachatti Police Station Case No. 769 of 2017 pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya. Hence, prayer for bail is

However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
