Following reliefs have been sought for in paragraph nos. 1(i) and (ii) of the present application on behalf of the petitioner:

"1(i) For directing the concerned respondents to carry out the necessary enquiry and to forward the recommendation for grant of license in favour of the petitioner, to acquire, have in his possession, or carry the rifle specified in the application form.

(ii) For directing the concerned respondents to grant license in favour of the petitioner, to acquire, having possession or carry rifle."

In the present writ application, the petitioner had applied for the license of arms on 11.09.2014. Thereafter, he was asked

Patna High Court CWJC No.2151 of 2019(2) dt.06-02-2019 2/2 to make an application on line. The said on-line application for the license was made on 22.07.2017 which is annexed as Annexure-2 to the writ application.

Considering the reliefs sought for on behalf of the petitioner, the Respondent No. 3 (the District Magistrate, Bhojpur) is directed to consider the application made on behalf of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
