It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that though he has completed about 22-23 years in prison and his matter for remission of sentence is pending before the Remission Board.

In view of the limited prayer made at the time of hearing, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Remission Board to consider the case of the petitioner in accordance with law in its next meeting as it appears from Annexure 5 that petitioner's case is ready for such decision by the Remission Board.
