Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No.269 of 2017, registered under Sections 307 and 411/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 25(1-b)A, 26/35 of the Arms Act.

Allegation in brief is that on suspicion, police followed a motorcycle and one person sitting on the motorcycle made an attempt to fire on the police officer but apprehended by police and from his possession a country made pistol with two live cartridges and one magazine were recovered and the motorcycle also found in his possession is a stolen motorcycle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 19.07.2017 and he has no criminal

Having considered the period of custody as well as clean antecedent of the petitioner, petitioner Ravindra Kumar @ Billa is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Judge-XIII-cum-ACJM4th (East), Muzaffarpur in connection with Sakra P.S. Case No.269 of 2017.
