Mr. (GP3) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 30-08-2017 For initiating action for contempt against the respondent, the application was filed on 13.4.1998 and till date no action has been taken with regard to the issue in question. Respondents have filed counter affidavit and indicate compliance of the order passed.

From a perusal of the order passed on 4.11.1997 in the writ petition, compliance of which is sought for, it is seen that the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2, Secretary of the Government, Department of Social Welfare, to decide the representation and issue appropriate orders. From the counter affidavit filed by the State respondents, it is seen that action has been taken and certain orders have been issued.

The respondents are discharged from the proceedings and, in case the petitioner has any grievance still subsisting, she shall have liberty to initiate proceedings afresh in accordance with law.
