1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21(a) and 22 of the NDPS Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has antecedent of four cases and is in custody since 10.07.2025 and the informant alleges that five grams of brown sugar was recovered from possession of the petitioner.

4. On query of the Court with regard to the stage of the case, it is fairly submitted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that charges have been framed and trial has commended and witnesses are being examined.

5. At this stage, the learned counsel appearing on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1104 of 2026(3) dt.03-07-2026 2/2 behalf of the petitioner submits that in NDPS Case No. 02 of 2020, no doubt petitioner was convicted, but was released based on the period already undergone in custody.

6. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

7. Accordingly, the instant bail application stands rejected.
