The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Marauna P.S. Case No. 112 of 2018, arising out of S.T. Excise No. 855 of 2018 for the offences punishable under 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 145 liters of Nepali illicit liquor from the house of the petitioner herein. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 29.11.2018.
