The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered under Section 307 and others sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The informant, while on patrolling duty, saw six persons riding on three motorcycles trying to loot a vehicle. Seeing the police, those persons opened fire on the police jeep. The police also resorted to firing but the accused persons fled away.
It appears that the name of the petitioner figured in the case but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Nobody was injured. The petitioner is in jail since 03.09.2014.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5957 of 2015 (2) dt.12-02-2015 2/2 nobody was injured, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in Siwan Muffasil (Mahadeva) P.S.
