JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-09-2021 Heard the parties in virtual Court proceeding. The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 34, 120(B) read with Section 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 474 of the I.P.C. and Section 13(2) read with 13(1) (c) and 13(1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Petitioner is one of the accused in Srijan scandal. She is in custody since 12.08.2017. Several FIRs were registered for the same scandal. Petitioner has already been allowed bail in most of the cases as one of the co-accused was allowed bail by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the C.B.I. opposed the prayer for bail.

No.14264 of 2021(3) dt.07-09-2021 2/2 Considering the period of detention and completion of investigation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Spl. Case No. 05/2020 cum RC 11/A/2017, arising out of Kotwali (Bhagalpur) P.S. Case No. 494 of 2017, with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
