BAJANTHRI) 01-02-2024 The present MJC is arising out of public interest litigation in so far as providing reservation in promotion under the Rights Of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

2. During the pendency of the present MJC the respondents have issued a Gazette notification on 16.01.2024 providing reservation in promotion to the disabilities category.

Taking note of this notification, we proceed to drop the present MJC with an observation that 16.01.2024 notification should be implemented in all the departments of the State within a period of six months from today failing which petitioner is at liberty to file an interlocutory application to revive this order.

4. Accordingly, present MJC - contempt petition stands disposed of.
