JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-02-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ directing the respondents, especially the respondent nos. 3 and 7, to apportion the compensation/relief amount (announced by the Government and the NTPC) equally between the petitioner and the respondent no. 8 as the petitioner and

Patna High Court CWJC No.756 of 2023(2) dt.24-02-2023 2/2 respondent no. 8 being mother and wife respectively to the deceased, Manish Kumar, are dependents and class-1 heir, and as such both are entitled to get equal share in aforesaid compensation amount.

Further prayer is to direct the respondent No. 3 to recover whatever the excess amount has been paid to the respondent no. 3 and the same be paid to the petitioner."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of obtaining a succession certificate from the learned court below, for the purposes of redressal of her aforesaid grievances.

Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
