1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Kursela P.S. Case no. 134 of 2024 registered under sections 80, 238 and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that his daughter who was married to the son of the petitioner herein was physically and mentally tortured for nonfulfilment of demand of dowry by way of bullet motorcycle and golden bangle and she was ultimately done to death.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner who happens to be the mother-inlaw has been falsely implicated in the case. There is no complaint against this petitioner in the past. She is in custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.965 of 2025(3) dt.09-04-2025 2/2 since 20.7.2024. She has no criminal antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in the case. The husband of the deceased is in custody.

5. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the F.I.R., the petitioner being the mother-in-law of the deceased, her being in custody since 20.7.2024, chargesheet having been submitted in the case and the husband of the deceased being in custody, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Kursela P.S. Case no. 134 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar.
