2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 292, 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66E, 67, 67(A) of I.T. Act.
3. As per F.I.R., the petitioner used to call informant regularly and send obscene messages and thereafter, demanded five lakh by way of extortion.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as a matter of fact, husband of opposite party no. 2 executed a saledeed in favour of petitioner on 16.04.2021, but possession was not given to him and as such, petitioner made a demand of Rs.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1614 of 2025(2) dt.11-02-2025 2/2 5.80 lakhs from husband of informant, which was given to him, as consideration money. He further submits that from bare perusal of the whatsapp chat, it would appear that petitioner has never sent any obscene message to informant, but in order to grab the money of petitioner, this false and concocted case has been lodged.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender before the Court below within a period of eight weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - II (West) Muzaffarpur in connection with Motipur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
