The petitioner is accused in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 207 of 2016, registered under Section 387, 353 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The accusation is that one person talked through mobile No. 9431818274 to the informant, who is Block Development Officer, Parbatta introducing himself as Chief Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Govt. of Bihar and made demand of ransom giving threatening in relation to the crop compensation damage. The informant identified the petitioner on the basis of his voice.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner is an agriculturist and he applied for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3419 of 2017 (2) dt.13-02-2017 2/2 compensation damage of crop and he used to visit the block for the same in spite of several visits, the informant being the BDO was not ready to pay compensation. Thereafter, the petitioner made compliant to the District Magistrate and other official due to that reasons, the present case has been lodged. The petitioner is in custody 06.12.2016.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, 1st Khagaria in connection with Parbatta P.S. Case No. 207 of 2016. (Rajendra Kumar Mishra, J) manish/- U T
