The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for payment of difference of salary for the period January, 2006 to May, 2016 on account of revision of pay of Readers/Associate Professors. The University should examine the recommendation as contained in Annexures 9 and 10 of the college in the matter of determination of arrears of difference of salary on account of revision of pay.
In the aforesaid circumstances, the writ petition is
Patna High Court CWJC No.5482 of 2018(2) dt.03-04-2018 2/2 disposed of with a direction to the Registrar, Magadh University, respondent No. 4 to examine the claim of the petitioner for payment of difference of salary for the period January, 2006 to May, 2016 objectively in the light of Annexures 9 and 10 to the writ petition, if not already decided, within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
It is needless to state here that at the time of determination of such entitlement, the respondent-University will see that the entire monetary benefits arising out of such determination must reach to the petitioner within a further period of 30 days from the date of decision of the Registrar. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
