The petitioner is accused in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 132 of 2016, registered under Sections 7/13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
The accusation is that petitioner being the Inspector of Police was apprehended by the Vigilance Department at the time of taking bribe of Rs. 11,000/- from the complainant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 04.12.2016. Further submission is that after investigation Chargesheet has already been submitted in this case.

No.6246 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Vigilance, North Bihar Muzaffarpur in connection with Special Case No. 61 of 2016 (Vigilance P.S. Case No. 132 of 2016).
