2. The petitioner seeks bail in N.D.P.S. case No. 43 of 2025, D.R.I. Case No. 12 of 2024-25 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-8(c), 20, 25, 27, of N.D.P.S. Act.

3. The petitioner is alleged to be carrying Cocaine in two packets kept in a trolly bag containing 4.450 kg. and 4.2 kg of Cocaine respectively was recovered which was worth Rs. 42,00,000,00/- (Rs. Forty two crores.)

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 14-11-2024 and as such, he has remained in custody for around one and a half years.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the recovery of Cocaine in commercial quantity, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly, it is rejected.

7. However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial of the petitioner as early as possible, preferably, within a period of six months.
