2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Ramkrishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 285 of 2023 instituted under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 494, 326, 34 of Indian Penal Code & 3/4 of D.P. Act.

3. The petitioner is the mother of the main accused i.e. she is the mother-in-law of the victim. The allegation against her and her son is that her son has been getting married again and again, torturing his wives and leaving them. He works in a bank.

4. From the medical report, it appears that the petitioner is a cancer patient.

5. Considering the medical history of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

6. Accordingly, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Patna in Ramkrishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 285 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

7. Learned counsel for the informant, Mr. Ashutosh Kumar submits that he is going to file a maintenance case before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna. If such an application is filed, the same shall be disposed of by the Family Judge at the earliest.
