Petitioners No 1 and 2 retired in the year, 2010 and petitioner No 3 retired in the year, 2015. Claiming benefits under the Assured Career Progression, they have approached the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura. In support of such assertion, a copy of their representation, said to have sent by Post to the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura, is enclosed as Annexure 5

Patna High Court CWJC No.2818 of 2020(2) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 series.

Since the issue is yet to be decided by the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura, no adjudication is called for. Pendency of the instant proceedings would be futile.

Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Sheikhpura to dispose of the petitioner's claim expeditiously, without any undue delay and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
