2. The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 12.12.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 87237 of 2025. In paragraph no. 7 of that order, it was observed by this Court that the learned Court below shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and if it is found that he is involved in any other case, except the present case, his bail bond shall be cancelled.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that wife of the petitioner was deponent and she was not aware of the fact that two cases, one under Section 135 of the Bihar Electricity Act and the other one is under Sections 126(2)/ 115(2)/74/76/79/3(5) of the BNS, were pending against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3044 of 2026(2) dt.30-01-2026 2/2 petitioner.

4. Considering the above mentioned facts and circumstances, the present modification application is allowed.

5. Accordingly, paragraph no. 7 of the order dated 12.12.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 87237 of 2025 shall be deemed to be deleted and period for surrender of the petitioner is extended for further four weeks from today.
