The petitioner is languishing in custody since 23.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 411 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant's motorcycle bearing Registration No.BR-24F-8485 was stolen.
The petitioner was apprehended near the spot with the motorcycle when he confessed his guilt.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that seizure list suggests that recovery is of motorcycle bearing Registration No. BR24F-8267 whereas Registration Number of the stolen motorcycle of the informant was BR-24F-8485. A statement has been made in paragraph no. 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Case No. 199 of 2014.
