The petitioner is accused in connection with Mairwa P.S. Case No.339 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The accusation is that on receiving secret information that near Sumerpur Canal four persons are selling liquor near Pakaudi Shop. Informant along with other police personnel reached there and on search of the shop four persons including the petitioner were apprehended. Four cartoons each containing 200 ml country-made liquor was recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact the petitioner is accused in similar nature of cases as detailed in para-3 due to that reason the petitioner is implicated in this case and is in custody since 14.12.2019.

No.478 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, IInd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Mairwa P.S. Case No.339 of 2019.
