That the present writ application is being filed for direction upon the respondents to revise the petitioner's pay scale in view of the letter contained in Memo Number 1537, dated 28.02.2020, issued under the signature of Secretary (Expenditure) Finance Department,

Patna High Court CWJC No.531 of 2024(2) dt.15-02-2024 2/3 Government of Bihar Patna, by which a general direction has been issued to revise the pay scales of Non Medical Assistant, in view of the decision of the fitment committee, with effect from 01.01.1996 in the pay scale of Rs4500-7000/- and accordingly the petitioner further pray that his all admitted dues including arrears of salary, revision of pension and other benefits."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Jehanabd i.e. the respondent no. 3 for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner approaches the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Jehanabd i.e. the respondent no. 3, by filing appropriate representation, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six
