The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2019, registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of apprehending of the petitioner at the time of committing theft of the cycle of the informant Sayeed Alam.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, petitioner was moving through the place of occurrence, but he has falsely been implicated in this case mere on suspicion. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 21.09.2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of

No.161 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M-I, Katihar in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 188 of 2019.
