The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 419, 354C, 294, 508, 506 and 182 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, it is stated by the informant that objectionable telephone calls were made and messages sent over the whatsapp by the petitioner to the informant causing severe mental stress to the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because the marriage fixed between the parties broke down for some reason. The petitioner is in custody since 31.7.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

No.1835 of 2022(2) dt.09-06-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for 8 months and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Buddha Colony P.S. Case no. 207 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateII, Patna. It is further directed that in case any further objectionable message or telephone call is received by the informant from the petitioner the informant will be at liberty to bring the same to the notice of the learned Court below and on receipt of such information the learned Court below may cancel the bail bond of the petitioner and take him into custody.
